Juniper Hibiscus

$625.00
sold out

Pacific Juniper 14.5"W x 3.75" H

Some also call this wood an aromatic Cedar and the colors do not question. The ins and outs of tree trunk growth are accentuated when sliced cross-wise and turned. (as we say, end-grained.) Creamy sap wood rims the purple heartwood while brown bark plays along the edge. Walnut "ties" bind some of the lobes to keep them secure while turning.

Juniper will darken with age. My finishes bring ones touch closer to the wood. This oil/wax finish will dull overtime when in contact with moisture. But being used is a good thing
