Black Walnut and Madrone 6"W x 5.25"H

Two Madrone birds have landed on the edge of a simple Challis. Such creatures have been made out of the crooks of the Madrone's bendy branches. Coloring results from fungi landing and working its way through the tree. The Pacific Northwest is loosing more and more of these tress through this process and changes in weather patterns. These little gulls are one way to save a bit.
